Safety & fees
What hosting costs here, and what we do so you know who is staying with you.
What it costs
These rates apply platform-wide and are shown exactly as they are currently set.
List your place- Host fee
- 16.66 % of the nightly price including VAT, deducted from your payout. That is 14 % plus VAT — calculated here at the German rate; if the property is in another EU country, that country's rate applies, and with a confirmed VAT ID from another EU state it stays at 14 %. Nothing is added for the guest — they pay exactly the price you set.
- Listing
- Free. No listing, base or monthly fee, however many places you put up.
- If you cancel
- If you cancel a confirmed booking, the guest gets everything back and you pay liquidated damages without VAT: 14 % of what has been paid, at least €15 — as a private person never more than the booking's fee, as a business host at least €20.
- Exchange booking
- €24 incl. VAT per exchange booking (German rate; other EU countries use their rate, net with a confirmed EU VAT ID).
- Payout
- Via Stripe to your bank account, released from the guest's arrival day.
What we do for your safety
- Verified identity
- Hosting requires a confirmed ID — as a private person and as a company. Guests verify too before they book.
- Two-factor required
- Every account is secured with a second factor or a passkey, not just a password.
- Money through the platform
- Paid up front via Stripe, never cash at the door. Deposit and balance take the same route.
- Moderation with appeal
- If we block a listing you get the reason in writing and can appeal — a human looks at it again.
- Reviews both ways
- You review your guests, they review you. Neither shows until both have written.
Guest registration: your duty, not ours
Registering guests is the accommodation provider's job — yours. We collect, store and transmit nothing for it, and we do not check it either. What you need depends on the law where your place is; in Germany the duty has applied only to foreign guests since 2025. To help, here is a non-binding template to print, in three languages so your guest can read it too.
Download the registration form template (PDF)No warranty on these figures; the binding rules are in the terms. We announce rate changes in advance.
